Rapeman

Rapeman is a fictional character, who masks up like a true superhero vigilante, and then rapes the heck out of various cunts who deserves it.

Rapeman has a strong sense of justice, and those who gets pounded, all had it cumming.

Arrow

Spoiled billionaire playboy Oliver Queen is missing and presumed dead when his yacht is lost at sea.

He returns five years later a changed man, determined to clean up the city as a hooded vigilante armed with a bow.

Even thou I recommend you to use a firearm instead, his bow and arrows has the silence thou; however it takes years of practice to master the art of shooting arrows from a bow.

To most of us a crossbow will do the trick, with firearms as back-up when the shit really hits the fan.

The series of Arrow raises some serious philosophical issues about vigilantism, it's pros and cons.

Dexter

Dexter Morgan is a forensics at Miami Metro Homicide, seemingly living an ordinary life.

On his sparetime, he goes vigilante upon assholes deserving it, whacking them mercilessly, and dumping their chopped up corpses into the ocean.

This fictional character is by no means portrayed sympatheticly, at least not initially, but he grows as a person as the series goes by.

The Dexter we leave in season 8, the last one, is by no standards the same person as in the first seasons.

It's not enough forensics working around in the world to make someone like Dexter very likely in real life.

Still, one have to admit, a vigilante like Dexter is absolute possible.

A vigilante using tricks from forensics to cover his tracks, is ofcourse very much within the realms of possibilities.

However, a vigilante outside forensics would have a hard time gathering sufficient evidence.

Even thou Dexter is a coldhearted killer, he seldom misses his mark when it comes down to justice.

Dexter never kills an innocent on purpose.

He lives by a code invented by his father.

And he kills by the same code.

Spiderman

Spiderman is bitten my a radioactive spider, and becomes a spiderlike man after that.

Even thou his superpowers are totally impossible, the character has still become almost as popular as Batman, much to the realism in portraying his human and weak sides.

Batman

When all godlike, or alien, or somewhat supernatural vigilantes are set aside, Batman is our man of choice.

As a fictional character, set in a fictional city, to call him "realistic" may be over the top, but still, he's actually possible.

His alter ego, Bruce Wayne, is born rich, hence he got the means to gear up accordingly.

Every rich man on earth could actually be Batman, if he so had wanted.

Batman is well trained, has loyal helpers, and use gear that is flamboyant, but not impossible.

It's not a coincidence, me thinks, that Batman is considered the most admired and popular vigilante from the cultural world.

Thor

Thor is a god from Valhalla, clearly inspired by norse legends, made all Hollywood and Marvels.

Thor has a strong sense of justice, and when you've evoked his wrath, a lawyer won't do you much good.

Even thou Thor himself suffers from a serious lack of humour, the stories about him do not.

The Thor-stories are quite entertaining, Thor himself being commited to the madhouse and such.

But as for most fictional vigilantes, they are much too immortal and godlike to pose any guidance for the rest of us.

Doctor Manhattan

After Superman, comes Doctor Manhattan as the most invincible and immortal superhero vigilante.

The Doctor is the result of some scientific experiment going wrong, and he ends up getting godlike superpowers.

He's not as much hero, as he's super thou, finding humans boring and of little interest.

Doctor Manhattan is the super-I-dont-give-a-fuck-man.

He has the power, but not the will.

Superman

Superman!

He epitomizes the superpowered masked vigilante, known from pulp on paper and on screen.

He is raised in Kansas, adopted by farmers, but he's really an alien.

His alias is the journalist Clark Kent.

Superman has a strong moral code, and he is more or less a blueprint for fictional vigilantes as we know them today.
